Another successful season has wrapped up for the Benalla Tigers Hockey Club with the friends, family and athletes celebrating the 2024 Goulburn Valley Hockey Association season with an awards lunch.
Club president Latham Carroll expressed gratitude for the generous support the club had received from members and the Benalla community.
“We could not have done it without you,” Caroll said.
During lunch the club reflected on a year which saw all junior divisions represented by the club for the first time, as well as a surge in participation numbers in the Hook into Hockey programs and come and try days.
Undoubted highlights of the season included the Junior 16 A-grade Premiership, the senior B-men finishing runners-up as well as junior and senior representation at country, state and national championships.
