Lapping it up: The under-10s have their sticks all-in for a “Hockey Ready!” pyramid.

Benalla’s Hook In2 Hockey started last Thursday, with more than 38 kids and nine coaches enjoying learning how to steal with some great games of Rob the Nest.

The under-8s started with Traffic Lights, loving spinning around the roundabouts!

The under-10s zoomed around some Minefields, then stole from each other’s nests.

The under-12s challenged coaches Sophie and Charlie and some under-14s to Hoctopus, showing some great skill in stealing and sending them out to be seaweed.

Kids are welcome to start any time, with equipment available. Hook In2 Hockey is 4.30-5.30pm in term one, and continues as Stick 2 Hockey in term 2.

New adults and teenagers are also welcome to come and try any time, with competition training beginning this week, Thursday, March 16 from 6pm to 7pm.
