Our under-17s Cats bowed out of the finals this week after a hard-fought battle against Deniliquin, going down by 10 goals.
Having lost to them twice during the season by 20 plus goals, the girls showed incredible fight and determination to close that gap and challenge them right to the end.
The pressure was intense from the first whistle, with both sides forcing turnovers and lifting the intensity.
Finley created some brilliant passages of play through the mid-court, feeding into our skilled goalies who stood tall under pressure.
The nerves and excitement of finals were high, but the girls held their composure and played a brilliant game of netball.
Although we couldn’t quite get the win, the effort and improvement shown was outstanding.
We are so proud of this group for the season they’ve had - the growth, the resilience, and the way they’ve supported each other every step of the way.
