Deniliquin Croquet Club members Mary and John James combined to win the Rich River Croquet club doubles championship last week.
The Deniliquin Croquet club doubles championship is scheduled for this Sunday, with players asked to arrive at 12.30pm for 1pm play.
Last Sunday, the cold weather did not deter players from competition.
There were four three game winners on Sunday, with Rex Kernich being declared the outright winner on a countback from Alan Higgins and Brian Dudley.
The two game achievers were Marg Telford and Gary Brose.
Andy Davis and Brose each scored a jump shot each.
There were better numbers on Wednesday, with Davis winning the day on a countback from Leo Barry and Dudley.
The two game achievers were Higgins and Doreen Peterson, returning after a break from croquet.
There were six jump shots with Dudley scoring two and one each to Allan Tonta, Kernich, Davis and Higgins.
