The Devenish Barbers may have disbanded in 2007 but that does not mean they will be lost to the sands of time, with the club planning to hold a reunion next month.

The event will be held at the Devenish Sportsground from 5pm on on Saturday, July 22, with live music provided by Daisy Chainsaw.
The reunion will require attendees to bring their own drinks and a barbecue will be provided as memorabilia from the club’s near 130-year run will be on display.
For those travelling from Benalla, a bus will depart from the Royal and North Eastern Hotels at 5pm and 6.30pm with return trips departing Devenish at 11pm and 12.30am.
There will be a $30 cover charge for the night’s festivities payable by card at the gate and stubby holders will also be available for purchase at a cost of $10.
Organisers would like to see as many people as possible associated with the club there on the night.
