Free tennis will be available for Seymour residents on Saturday and Sunday to coincide with the Australian Open finals.

Seymour Tennis Complex president Paul Grattan said the courts would be open from 9am to 7pm, and he encouraged everyone to have a hit. Children are especially welcome.

After a break for the school holidays, tennis will also restart this Saturday for both junior and senior teams, with enough courts available for the public to also make use of the facility.

A new night tennis season will start next week.

The complex will also hold its club championships on Friday, February 25, and conduct its annual Labour Day tournament on Saturday, March 12.
