The brightest stars of the Gooroombat Bats Football Netball Club have been celebrated at their annual awards night held at the Benalla Club on Saturday, September 21.

The night gave the club and Goorambat community a chance to celebrate the season that was.
Club awards:
- President’s Award (Charlie Cooper Perpetual Shield): ‘Canteen Ladies’ Gay Nolan, Tracey Moss and Jenny Reaburn.
- Outstanding Club Person Award (Geoff Heaney Perpetual Shield): Todd Wapling.
- Most Valuable Netball Club Person Award: Brooke Haddrell.
- Most Courageous Player (Andy Baker Perpetual Trophy) – Football: Jamie Dunne.
- Most Dedicated Player (Don Morton Perpetual Shield) – Football: Lachy Boyle.
- Club Leading Goal Shooter (Di’s Diamond Cleaning Perpetual Shield): Poppy Broomhall (657 goals).
- Life Memberships (100 games): Carli Hogan and Georgia Thomson.
- Milestone Games: Brenton Doig (150 games), Johnny House (150 games), Elise Nolan (250 games), Ally Ellis (250 games), Amelia Gall (400 games).
