Broken Creek Primary School hit the week off, with the whole school joining in for two fun games of ‘Rob the Nest’, the highlight being some great defensive action from hockey player Jacob.

All of the grade 1/2s and 3/4s at Benalla P-12 College were visited this year, with the Waller campus 1/2s mastering dribbling with a game of ‘What’s the Time, Mr Hockey?’ on Tuesday, and those at Avon campus finding the right balance with hook and ball.
Firm favourite ‘Hoctopus’ showed off the skills of St Joseph’s Primary students in grades 3, 5 and 6, with dribbling and dodging being worked, while mini games of ‘Number Hockey’ saw many goals scored, and equally as many missed.
Grade five students at St Joseph’s honed their skills during Number Hockey.
“We love kids remembering “hockey ready!” from previous years, and the Benalla Hockey Club junior coaches bring great enthusiasm to the sessions– thanks William, Hayden, Kobe, Brodie, Steele, Rachel, Sophie and Finn,” Hockey Victoria coach Lee Manning said.
