In-house competition encourages gymnasts

Level three gymnasts put on a showcase of skills in preparation for competitions in Moyhu and Natimuk later this year.

The day was a wonderful introduction to the expectations of competition gymnastics, but with a special mix of support from family, friends, coaches and three very smiley judges.

There were stand-out performances from Norah Ramsey (level one) as well as sister duo, Ruby and Gemma Ham (level two).

The overall sportsmanship award went to Claudia Economou.

This is awarded to the gymnast who demonstrates support for their teammates and approaches the sport with grace and skill.

This small taster of competition will give the gymnasts confidence if they decide to attend the Moyhu Invitations competition later this year.

There was a wonderful spirit of participation from all gymnasts and a strong sense of where the gymnastics club is heading.
