In the under-21 NPL Two competition, the Suns took home all three points in a convincing 5-2 victory over Pascoe Vale.
The under-21s were in the box seat right from the start of the contest, with Elijah Brooker opening the scoring in just the seventh minute.
Pascoe Vale managed to find an equaliser just four minutes later; however, the Suns were soon back in front, with Marcus Thomas hitting home.
From there on in the game was the Goulburn Valley’s to lose, with Thomas Raditsas’s 53rd minute goal extending the home side’s lead.
Captain Stefan Pigatto piled further pressure on the visiting side, scoring a 59th minute goal, before Thomas found his second to have the Suns four goals in front.
A final consolation goal to Pascoe Vale had little impact on the contest, with the Suns running out 5-2 winners.

In the under-18s it was a difficult day out for the Suns, going down 4-1 to the Manningam United Blues.
This contest was even throughout the first half, with one Blues goal all that separated the teams at the break.
However, two quick goals to the visitors put them 3-0 up and while a 59th minute Declan Kinnane goal gave the Suns hope, it just was not their day, with Gerald Corbo picking up a red card to add insult to injury.
In the under-16s, Manningham was simply too strong, running out a 5-0 winner.
A 3-0 half-time lead was extended by two goals in the second half, in a disappointing result for the home side.

The Suns under-14s side put up a good fight against Manningham but also got done, falling 3-1.
A 28th minute goal to Aston Monteleone had the Suns in the lead early; however, the side could not hold on, with the Blues finding three goals to take out the contest.
The under-21s side will be travelling with the seniors to take on the North Geelong Warriors this Saturday, while the under-18s, 16s and 14s will play host to Nunawading City FC at McEwen Reserve.
