Liam Delany appointed head coach of Mansfield Tennis Association

Liam Delany is the new head of coach of the Mansfield Tennis Association.

A multisport coaching professional and sports therapist, along with recently acquired Tennis Australia’s development coach qualifications, Delany brings with him a wealth of experience both on and off the courts to the Elvins St courts.

MTA president Robert Williams was pleased with Delany’s appointment.

“Liam Delany’s appointment could not come at a better time,” Williams said.

With the association's 2024/25 summer season beginning in October, Delany will deliver a Saturday morning Hot Shots Program alongside the junior competition.

Delany said he was excited to contribute to the Mansfield community by coaching the region’s tennis talent.

“I am excited to make a further contribution to the sporting community in my home town.”

Junior competition and Hotshots will begin on Saturday, October 12, with night competition to begin on the October 15, 16 and 17.
