The senior game on Saturday against Moyhu was a must-win for the boys after the shock loss to Whorouly the week before, and with a few players out, the job was always going to be tough.
Sally Malay kept the boys in touch in the first half with his pressure at every contest, with our disposal, letting the boys down and causing plenty of turnovers and opportunities for Moyhu to score.
Jamie Dunne played another great game, getting plenty of the ball with great forward entries, with support from Ryan Burns.
The boys know they have a lot of improvement to work on before the finals get under way, as they are nowhere near playing the football they are capable of playing at this stage.
We look forward to our next challenge against old rivals Bonnie Doon with our 20-year player's reunion next Saturday — a big day for the boys to get the job done.

The reserves had a slow start to their game on Saturday against Moyhu after coming off a good win the week before, with Moyhu first to the ball at nearly every contest.
The boys slowly got back into the game the longer it went on, with the evergreen Andy Ellis in everything around the ground.
The boys played the type of football they are capable of after half-time, outscoring Moyhu five goals to their two, with Les Lawford playing a great game up forward, kicking four for the day.
