Benalla All Blacks will host Goorambat in round one of the 2026 Ovens and King Football Netball League season on March 28.
While pre-season is only just getting under way for most clubs, the Ovens and King Football Netball League has already released its fixture ahead of the 2026 season, and local fans won’t have long to wait at all for blockbuster games.

The Benalla All Blacks and Goorambat will get the season under way in a blockbuster contest that is sure to set the tone for the rest of the season, with Benalla to host the round one clash on Saturday, March 28.
The return fixture will see Goorambat host the All Blacks on June 27 as part of the Terry Socks It To Cancer round, which raises funds for the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre.
Benalla will do battle with Bonnie Doon in a Good Friday fixture in round two, which also doubles as a grand final rematch between the All Blacks’ all-conquering B Reserve netballers and the Bombers.
The local rivalry between Benalla All Blacks and Goorambat will kick off round one of the Ovens and King Football Netball League on March 28.
Goorambat will have the bye in round two (April 4) and again in round 10 (May 30), while the All Blacks have the week off in round six (May 2) and round 19 (August 8), while all sides will have the King’s Birthday Weekend off with a league-wide bye on June 6.
Across the league, fans will have to wait until round five for an A grade netball grand final rematch, with 2025 runner-up Whorouly to host reigning premier Bonnie Doon, while the senior football grand final rematch will take place in round seven, with reigning premier Bright to host runners-up Greta.
Week one of finals is slated across two days of action on Saturday, August 22 and Sunday, August 23, with semi-finals to be played the following weekend on Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30.
Preliminary finals will take place on Saturday, September 5, while grand final day will be Saturday, September 12.
