Both sides have been impressive in the early weeks of the competition, with Jerilderie picking up four wins and Strathmerton five.
Last week the Demons fell to Tocumwal by eight goals, while their opponents this week defeated Blighty by 34.
Strathmerton coach Olivia Osborne said she hoped it would be a really good game.
“We know they’re going to be tough, they’re quite a physical side so we’re mentally preparing for a tough game,” Osborne said.
“We’ve got a fair bit of depth coming back into the side this week.”
Kasey Baker will return to the side after a couple of weeks off, while Jemma Ryan will return from injury for her first game of the year.
Sharp-shooter Emily Ryan will be one to look out for this week for the Bulldogs after two strong performances in the ring, while defender Caitlyn Price has also had an impressive start to the season.
“I think we’ve had a really good start (to the season),” she said.
“We’ve got to keep our composure and not get too excited that we’re sitting third on the ladder.
“The next four weeks are really going to tell us where we actually are in the league.”
Jerilderie coach Ella Arnold said based on last year’s game the teams were quite similar.
“Last year Strathmerton just pipped us at the post and got the win but I think we are probably the only team in the league that hasn’t had people in and out,” Arnold said.
“We will be having our full side, however we do have one of our defenders out.
“It might make sure that we have to get turnovers in the mid-court and the attack end and not rely on the defence end.”
Key player Amy Perry will be out of the Demons’ side this weekend, while goaler Analyse Barlow will once again look to impress.
“She’s (Barlow) only young but she’s really come a long way so far this year, she’s quite promising and got a lot to learn for the rest of the year,” Arnold said.
“Last week it was a bit unfortunate, we had two key players out, myself and Keshia Marshall, that was a last minute thing.
“Despite having players out I think we’ve got the experience together as a team.
“I think we’re going to just come out hard in the first quarter and really make sure every centre we’re getting our goal and any turnovers or loose balls we’re really going hard for.”
Jerilderie will welcome Strathmerton to Monash Park on Saturday with play under way at 1.30pm.
In other Picola and District Netball games, Picola United will take on Tocumwal at home.
The undefeated Tungamah will welcome Katunga, Waaia will travel to Deniliquin to take on the Deni Rovers and Blighty and Rennie will battle it out.
Katamatite and Mathoura will do battle in Katamatite while Katandra has a week off.
