The facilities at the Benalla Pony Club are of high quality, which has been recognised by Pony Club Australia.
Riders and their horses from across Australia descended on Benalla last week for the Petstock Pony Club Australia 2023 National Championship.

Teams from NSW, Western Australia, Tasmania, Victoria and the Northern Territory competed in the events.
The games were supposed to run across two days, but because of the wet weather on Wednesday, October 4, all events were held on Thursday, October 5.

At the end of the competition, the junior champions were NSW, and the senior champions were Western Australia.
