The prestigious honour was presented in front of a packed room, with chair Mardi Jarvis, board members John Clarke and Cooper Lubeck and chief executive officer Chris Martin all in attendance to receive the award on behalf of the club.
Mr Martin said the accolade was a testament to the club’s hardworking staff and board, accompanied by a commitment to delivering unforgettable racing experiences.
“This is another huge moment for the Seymour Racing Club and an award we're incredibly proud to receive,” he said.
"I'd like to thank the VBA for their support of country racing and for putting on a fantastic awards night.
“Our team has worked incredibly hard to position Seymour as one of the leading racing destinations in the state, and to receive this award from the Victorian Bookmakers’ Association is great reward for effort.
“I want to acknowledge our dedicated staff for their commitment to our operations. Our team goes above and beyond to ensure our race days are the best in regional Victoria.
“I also want to thank our board for their vision and support, as well as our loyal members, sponsors and the wider community who continue to get behind our club.”
The SRC has enjoyed strong momentum in recent years, investing significantly in its facilities while continuing to deliver high-quality race days.
“This award reinforces what many in the industry already know, that Seymour is on the rise,” Mr Martin said.
“We’re continuing to plan for the future, with significant investment earmarked for further upgrades and improvements to our race day experience.
"Looking ahead, we’re excited about the opportunities in front of us and committed to delivering racing events that bring people to Seymour from right across the state.”
