WSAC is hosting a water polo come and try day on Sunday, January 18.
Water polo is a fast-paced team sport that combines swimming, strategy and skill.
The come and try day is perfect for beginners, with two sessions tailored to 10- to 16-year-olds and 16+ age groups.
Under the guidance of experienced coaches, attendees will learn water polo fundamentals, including passing and shooting.
They will test their skills with practice drills and play friendly games in the outdoor 50m pool.
WSAC manager Leon Newton said he was looking forward to the day.
“Why not start the new year by trying a new sport,” he said.
“Water polo is a great way to build fitness, improve co-ordination and enjoy friendly competition.”
WSAC is located at 41 Schilling Dve, Wangaratta.
Session times:
The 10- to 16-years will be from 10am to 11am, at a cost of $10.
The over-16s will be from 11am to 12.30pm, at a cost of $15.
