Division 1 scored a solid win when they claimed a 63 to 55 victory over Rochester.
Rob Morris’ side went down 12 shots to 20, while Jamie Shields led his rink to a narrow 25 to 23 win.
But the clincher for the overall eight shot victory was Conway Bovell’s team - including Graham Nisbet, Craig Hillier and Peter Chadderton - when they claimed a comprehensive win, 26 shots to 12.
Division 2 had a bye.
Division 3 had a tough day, losing on all three rinks as Rochester had a very comfortable victory, 69 shots to 37.
Ken Salter’s side was beaten 12 shots to 24, while Mark Law’s went down 15 to 21.
It was no better on the third rink, with Scott Vesty’s crew being defeated 10 shots to 24.
The two Division 5 teams continued the good form from the previous week when both scored resounding victories.
The Blue team’s Col Knuckey called the shots for Bill Young, Craig Lowe and Ken Bowden on their way to a thumping win, 29 shots to 11.
The other combination of Alan Hardcastle (skip), John Murray, Tony King and Ian Chessells went even better when they cruised home, 33 shots to 11, to ensure the overall 40 shot victory against Stanhope.
Div 5 White also had a good day when they accounted for Rochester, 53 shots to 30.
Tony Danckert’s crew of Noel Murray, Jade Hipworth and Toni Brooksby had a very strong win, 29 shots to 11.
The other rink - comprising Lee Pattinson (skip), Robyn Little, Darcy Nilsson and Helen Anderson - didn’t have it quite as comfortable, but still prevailed, 24 shots to 19, giving Deni the overall 23 shot advantage.
Next Saturday will see a very rare occurrence when all five teams will be playing at home.
