It’s the annual silent auction in connection with the Sunshine Charity Golf Classic to be held from May 25 to May 29 in which spots for more locals are available.
YMGCR’s Chief Executive Officer said the event supports two incredible causes – Southern Peninsula Community Support and the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre.
“A very special thank you goes to Rosebud’s Pat Rndall for her tireless support and to local co-ordinator Dario Prighel.”
Pat said: “We have the Wodonga Lexus Dealership again sponsoring the hole-in-one prize with a brand-new car on the 13 th hole on the Lake Course.
“Last year we raised $37,000 so I would like to make our target $40,000 this year.”
Dario said at least 150 players will be playing the three days of golf which is a Men’s and Ladies Stableford on the Lake Monday, Men’s, Ladies and Mixed 4BBB Stableford Tuesday and Men’s and Ladies 4 Person Ambrose Wednesday; dinner/presentations/auctions Wednesday might.
“We are still looking for more locals. Cost is $25 per day,” he said.
