Goorambat travelled to Tarrawingee knowing it was going to be a tough game.
The Bats had a slow start again with Tarra getting the jump early. Despite going down in the end the Bats fought hard all game.
Ally Ellis and Chelsea Beavis showed their versatility to play both ends of the court and were combining well in shooting before Chelsea went out with an injury.
Olivia Dalton and Georgia Thomson played a strong defence against Tarra's tough shooters. Sarah Osborne showed great athleticism in the midcourt and was well backed by Carli Hogan, Amelia Skilbeck and Erin Hernan. Not the end result the Bats were looking for.

Goorambat 26 def by Tarrawingee 37
Perfect weather conditions saw the Bats travel to Tarrawingee. Tarra took the lead early in the first quarter and continued to hold onto it. Some great passages of play throughout the game and strong defensive pressure from Ella Sheehan and Kelsey Moss kept the girls in the game.
Jenna Brunner worked tirelessly in goals with her accuracy and offensive rebounds. Jacinta Beavis was pivotal in the midcourt playing both attack and defence.

Goorambat 29 defeated by Tarrawingee 64
With two players out due to injury the team welcomed two new players to the side this week, forcing the girls to adjust to new conditions. Despite this the girls went out against Tarrawingee as a strong team-front.
Each player worked hard for the team. It was a competitive game but unfortunately Tarrawingee were just too strong for us.
This week Molly Brunner started out in WA where she fought hard to get out on the centre pass. After half-time she moved back into the goal ring where she stood her ground and shot beautifully.
Grace Smith was thrown into GK this week where she defended the Tarra shooters nicely. Grace took on all feedback given to her and really proved herself as a player.
Our new team player Sophie Hammond played a great game in WD and WA, where she defended and attacked really well.
We take on Moyhu next week who we were able to defeat last time, so the girls are hoping for another win.
