Persistence, determination, courage and never give up are all terms that come to mind after seeing all the kids perform on Friday night at Ski School.
Congratulations to Jaxson Moroney and Jett Langman from Mathoura for both transitioning from double skis to one.
This is a massive achievement and milestone for both boys.
Hot weather and warm water temperatures enticed many young ones into the water.
Three of our youngest kids - four year-olds Thomas Loy and Max Barling, and three year-old Parker Littman - braved the ripples of the Edward River and had a go on the ‘ducky board’.
It is designed to help young kids balance and build confidence and water safety skills. It is very sturdy and easy for kids to use.
Watch this space, these kids could be future water skiers.
Thank you to all our wonderful boat drivers, observers and organisers on the night.
The Ski School Christmas party is on tonight. Santa and his elves will be arriving at the boat club on Skis at about 6.30pm.
Everyone is welcome to attend and there will be prizes for the best 'festive' dressed.
Keep an eye on the Facebook page 'Deniliquin Boat Club" for further information.
