Passed away peacefully at Flinders Medical Centre with family. Much loved husband of Phyllis (dec'd). Adored and loving Dad of Christine and Linda (dec'd) and loving father-in-law to Smurph (dec'd) and Martin. Loving grandad of Debbie and Rebecca and great grandad of Sam and Patrick. Loved uncle of many. Derrick was a kind and gentle man, always supportive and patient to others. Quietly spoken, Derrick grew up as a child in war torn England, his post war army service in Germany changed his life significantly for the better. He brought his family to Australia for a better life in 1968. A calm and steady support for Christine. Private direct cremation at Dads request. No flowers please.
