Back to the Future star James Tolkan dies aged 94
James Tolkan, known for Back to the Future and Top Gun, has died aged 94 after a remarkable acting career spanning decades.
Lyall will be remembered fondly by his wife Margaret, His children Lee-Anne and Nigel, daughter-in-law Christine and his grandchildren Justin, Nicholas, Tallon and Daniel. Also, his friends and relatives including 'Bourn Family' members' living in Sydney: most of whom flew to Adelaide at very short notice to attend Lyall's Celebration of Life' held on 10th November in The Coach House, Cherington Lodge, Laffers Road, Belair.
This occasion was well-attended by many of Lyall's family and friends who could be contacted quickly.
Lyall had enjoyed a full life, but his rapidly declining health over the last 6 months was very challenging: and he was ready to hang up the keys of his beloved BMW and quietly sign off at age 82.
His Ashes will be placed in his parents' grave at the Cheltenham Cemetery.
