It is with sadness, we announce the passing of Ama.

She passed away at home in Kathmandu on 6 October 2025, following long illness.

As is customary, cremation took place on the same day at the Pashupatinath Aryaghat.

Prayers were held daily and prashad offered on the 13th day of her passing at the temples in Sydney.
