The Honourable Edward (Ted) Joseph Egan AO

1932-2025

His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory, Ms Ruth Jones and the staff of Government House acknowledge with deep sorrow the passing of Ted Egan.

Mr Egan served as the 18th Administrator of the Northern Territory, 2003-2007.

His contribution to the Northern Territory in the fields of arts, sports, human rights and administration was without comparison.

Our love and sympathies are with Nerys and family at this sad time.
