Died peacefully on Good Friday, April 3 2026 at Caritas Christi, Kew, aged 48 years. Born 15 August 1977. Eldest son of Edward and Frances Exell and brother of Daniel, Clare and Luke. Brother-in-law of David Laflin, Adrian Healy and Carla Presbury. Much loved uncle of Mia and Henry Exell, Frederick, Edward and Neave Laflin and Lally Fay. Grandson of Elizabeth Rolfe (dec) and Patricia Exell (dec). Heartfelt thanks to the L’Arche Community who also have walked the journey with Jo. Thanks also to all those wonderful souls who helped make Jo’s life such a joy, including the priests and parishes where Jo lived and worshipped and the many doctors, nurses and health professionals whose skills and compassion were such an important part of the journey. May he rest in the peace of the Risen Lord.
