Passed away on 16 October 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Phillip Barry Marshall, a respected chartered civil engineer, beloved husband, and devoted father.
Phillip was known not only for his professional excellence and integrity in the field of engineering, but also for his warmth, wit, and unwavering love for his family. A passionate golfer and a lifelong Richmond and Arsenal supporter, he brought the same dedication and enthusiasm to his hobbies as he did to his work and relationships.
He is survived by his loving wife Yvonne, and his cherished daughters, Arlie and Greer, sons-in-law Mark and Stuart, and grandchildren, Kate, Samuel, Liam and Imogen. Phillip’s legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the values he upheld, and the memories shared by all who knew him.
A fitting celebration of Phillip’s remarkable life will be held in the new year.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. Shame he supported Arsenal (added by sons-in-law Stuart (Spurs fan) and Mark (Man Utd fan).
