Today the world lost a beautiful soul and my loving husband Wally.
Loving and devoted husband of Caresse.
Proud and loving Dad of Sam.
Loved Poppy of Mackay and Pailey.
Father of Michael.
Loving brother of Marge.
Aussie Dad of Rachelle.
Wally, my heart is breaking but your time was up and you are finally at Peace in God's hands where you will find eternal peace. Thank you for being a good husband and a great Dad to Sam and an awesome Poppy to Mackay and Pailey. You will always be
with me 24/7. After 48 years I feel so lost as you were always by my side. I will never forget your words when I had open heart surgery and you looked after me so well. You said I'm so sorry you had heart surgery but it has given me the opportunity to show you just how much I really do love you. Wally, you gave so much to so many and never asked for anything in return. You were loved by so many and you will be sadly missed. Sam, he always cherished the letter you wrote to him when he was going through a really bad time and you told him you loved him no matter what and that you did not judge him and that you acepted him as he was. That letter meant so much to him. Always your loving wife, Caresse.
The beautiful sparkle in your eyes will stay in our hearts forever. Your heart is at peace. You suffered so much, you told so few, you did not deserve what you went through. You left a place no one can fill, we miss you Wally and always will. Please God hold your arms around him, tend him with your love and care, make up for all he suffered and all that seemed unfair.
Dad, you were the best Dad I could have asked for. You were always there for me no matter what. I have so many wonderful memories of our life together which will stay with me for a lifetime and I thank you for the direction and inspiration through the years to make me the man I am today and thank you for all the love you gave to your grandchildren Mackay and Pailey.
All our hearts are breaking.
Love you mate, your son Sam.
Our Wally, "my heart will go on" and it will be beause you are in it always.
Loved and remembered always by your granddaughters Madison and Tayla.
"If you are going to do something, do it now as tomorrow may never come".
Wally and I would like to thank Doctor Michelle for taking care and always being there for him for the last 30 years. He always said you were his Earth Angel and I know by now Caillin and Wally are together looking down on us. Thank you Michelle.
To live on in the hearts and minds of those left behind is not to die.
The soldier stood and faced his GOD, which must always come to pass,
He hoped his shoes were shining, just as brightly as his brass.
"Step forward now, you soldier, how shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek? to My Church have you been true?"
The soldier squared his shoulders, and said: No, Lord, I guess I ain't,
Because of us who carry guns, can't always be a saint.
I never passed a cry for help, though at time I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God, forgive me, I wept unmanly tears.
If you've a place for me here, Lord, (it needn't be really grand, I've never
expected, or had too much), but if you don't, I'll understand."
There was a silence around the throne, where the saints had often trod,
As the soldier waited quitely, for the judgement of his God.
"Step forward now, you soldier, you've borne your burdens well,
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets, you've done your time in Hell.
Resting Peacefully In God's Hands
Forever In Our Hearts
