The relatives and friends of the late Mr Bruce Backler are warmly invited to attend his funeral service in the Kingston District Hall, Kingston SE SA, on Friday 17th October 2025, commencing at 2pm. Following the service, the funeral procession will proceed to the Kingston Lawn Cemetery for the committal. An afternoon tea in the Supper Room of the Kingston District Hall will follow to reflect together and share stories of a life well-lived. In lieu of floral tributes, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Kingston Soldiers Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Bruce was full of cheek, loved a laugh and a good story, and was rarely seen without his shorts and hat! In honour of Bruce, wear your most comfortable Sunday best as he would have!
