The display at 37 Bank St is free to enter and runs every day until September 29 between 10 am to 3 pm.
The works of more than 20 artists will be exhibited, with locals such as John Taylor (acrylic painting), Emily Bird (textiles) and Fiona Hackett (pottery) also featuring.
Many of the pieces on display are also available for purchase directly from the artist.
Art Fest co-ordinator Karyn Day believes the unprecedented art display is a wonderful exhibition of local talent.
"I was one of the founding members of the Cobram and District Art Society in 1995 and we have never had an art exhibition that will last as long as this," she said.
"We usually have weekend exhibitions but nothing like two weeks, which is a wonderful stint.
"It has been promoted across the shire so we hope we can get a lot of people in.
"The second week is school holidays so we would like to attract tourists but we would also love locals to come and see what is being made in their own region.
"Footy players come from the local area and go away and be stars; we don't recognise our artists and we have some really talented people in the local area."
The art display features a majority of the tutors who will take part in Art Fest at Cobram Showgrounds on September 21 and 22.
Art Fest, which is being held for the fourth time, is a series of workshops designed to give people of all skill levels the opportunity to try their hand at a wide variety of art forms.
"Art Fest is a series of taster workshops which go for about three to three-and-a-half hours," Ms Day said.
"The workshops are open to anyone including beginners and they give you a chance to actually create something.
"We have a broad spectrum of things which you may have been meaning to tick off your bucket list — you might have always wanted to try leadlight or working with leather; this is your chance to taste it without it costing a lot, and you get to take something home at the end of the day.
"I encourage every to come and have a go. Everyone is welcome, even if you haven't done anything since school, this is all geared for people to have a go and have fun."
Ms Day said bookings would be taken right up until the day, and while most equipment would be supplied, some workshops required specific equipment such as fully enclosed shoes or a long-sleeved shirt.
