The celebration will be an opportunity for the wider community to gather and share in the faith, friendship and memories that have been part of St Aidan’s across generations.
Everyone is warmly invited to attend, with a particular welcome extended to people who have a family connection with St Aidan’s.
Whether that be through baptisms, weddings, funerals, Sunday School, worship or other special moments in the life of the church.
Following the service, guests are invited to stay for lunch in the hall.
There will also be a display exploring the history of St Aidan’s and its place in the local community, along with craft activities during the afternoon.
The day will celebrate not only St Aidan himself, but the many generations of people whose lives and stories have become part of St Aidan’s history.
It will be a special opportunity to reconnect with old friends, share memories, discover more about the church’s story and enjoy fellowship together.
St Aidan’s Anglican Church is located at 7 Swanpool-Lima Rd, Swanpool.
