The pre-arranged visit was organised by management because of the ongoing lockdowns and the need to have those who work, or live, around our community's elderly residents vaccinated.
Cooinda chief executive officer Alex McKenna said the vaccination team was on hand throughout the day to give residents and staff the jab.
Pictured is catering staff member Philippa Ferry, who received the jab under the careful watch of Cooinda registered nurse Rebecca Binion.
“The clinic was a great success,” Mr McKenna said.
“Protecting our residents is our primary focus; we had more than 10 Cooinda staff members vaccinated on the day with many of our staff on track to be fully vaccinated by mid-September.”
