Dawn service begins at 5.55am on Thursday, April 25, at Moama Cenotaph, Kerrabee Soundshell. This will be followed by a Gunfire Breakfast at Moama RSL.
After the breakfast, veterans, active service people and their families are invited to join in the march.
The Moama RSL Sub-Branch, including president Ken Jones and Leigh Bennett, have been working hard to plan the inaugural event.
“Our members requested that we do a march this year,” Mr Jones said.
“It helps that we’ve had a bit of population growth (in Moama) over the last 10 years.”
“It’s history-breaking ... we’ve never done it before,” Mr Bennett said.
Muster is at 8.30am from behind Moama Post Office at the Echuca St car park for a 8.40am start.
The march will finish at the Moama Cenotaph, where there will be a Commemorative Service from 9am.
Later in the day, Moama RSL will host two-up from 1pm.
