It's a hard statement to argue against, with the Breakers upsetting reigning North East conference winners Wallan Panthers on their home court on Saturday night.
It was Benalla's fourth win in its three seasons in the competition.
“It was our best win ever, to win at Wallan against a full-strength Wallan side,” Armstrong said.

The win was made all the more sweeter with its come-from-behind nature, as the Breakers shook off a slow start to turn a double-digit deficit into a winning effort.
“We probably started slow. Wallan scored at will early and we were missing shots under the basket,” Armstrong said.
“But then we upped the ante, got more discipline on defence and read the play and floor better.
“I think they started to believe and they were hard to stop, and the load was spread.
“It was about a 25-point turnover which is a credit to the boys.”

With centre Lachy Kego dominating the boards for 17 points and Tom Moloney returning to the starting line-up for a handy 12 points, it was perhaps Patrick Mahoney's effort that impressed the most, as he worked to turn a slow start into a standout game.
“For Pat to get that mindset back was really impressive. I think he went 0-7 and hadn't scored eight minutes into the game. To then get to the line 10 times, miss only one and have a 25-point game (was impressive),” Armstrong said.
Benalla will head into the bye this weekend, before backing up for a double-header weekend on January 30 and 31.
First up on Saturday night will be Seymour, who sits atop the conference undefeated after two rounds.
“Seymour are the best team in it. Looking at it, that's as far as we'll plan,” Armstrong said.
“We have Wodonga the following day, but we need to worry about Seymour first.
“We have three training sessions from now until then to work on things.”
Summer badminton back in Benalla
● Earlier in the night, Benalla's women's team toiled away in a tough 58-point loss to the Wallan Panthers.
With two fewer rotations and three players fouled out, the Breakers struggled to match it with a more experienced Panthers line-up, led by Carley Cranston (21 points).
Lillie Grieg added eight points to the board, while Molly Glazebrook got herself to the basket and forced fouls for seven points.
The Breakers will face a similarly tough assignment to its male counterparts after the break, with Seymour's women's team also undefeated after two games.
