Rochester eased its way into Thursday, May 22, with a yoga session by the Campaspe River.
Led by instructor Christy O’Brien, the hour-long class was part of the extensive Ripple Fest line-up across Echuca and Rochy.
Christy O’Brien is an instructor of Vinyasa flow and yin yoga.
Mrs O’Brien guided the group through a gentle yoga flow, including sun salutations and breath work.
Along with her yogi skills, Mrs O’Brien is a professional writer, also holding a workshop on Saturday, May 24 for Ripple Fest.
Participants flowed into the morning of Thursday, May 22.
Her workshop, A Hero’s Journey, took place at Echuca library, taking writers through Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey framework.
Mrs O’Brien regularly leads yoga classes at Echuca’s Back 9 Golf Course, taking her students through Vinyasa flow and yin yoga three days per week.
