This year’s edition will be held at Corowa Civic Bowls Club, with Fashions on the Field once again taking centre stage to crown ‘Best Dressed Lady’.
Ladies can revel in the excitement of Spring Carnival racing with Oaks Day action on the big screen, kicking off at 12pm and hosted by the fabulous Gavin King.
Enjoy a glass of bubbly and canapes on arrival, with a two-course luncheon to follow.
Sue Brian from Daisy Cow in Rutherglen will be there as a special guest for the day, and Kerryn is hopeful the Spring Carnival event will draw another bumper crowd.
“Sue has been a major sponsor of the event for a long time, so this year I’ve asked her to come as a special guest,” Kerryn said.
“With the one-off location change this year we needed to lock down a venue early so we could give the ladies plenty of notice.
“But all news is pointing towards us heading back to our traditional venue at Corowa Golf Club next year.”
Ladies enjoy a glass of bubbly on arrival with prizes for their fashion on the field during the event.
The event attracts about 100 to 120 ladies each year, and with tickets already walking out the door you will need to book early to guarantee a seat.
There are prizes for best millinery and most popular lady also up for grabs, as well as sweeps throughout the day.
It’s an opportunity to get glamorous and indulge in exquisite food and bubbly drinks while catching up with good friends.
