Ladies Who Lunch set to top last year’s total

The final fundraising tally is yet to be confirmed, but GV Health has already declared this year’s event a success, surpassing the $185,000 raised last year.

The afternoon served up a three-course meal catered by Milkbar, an auction, raffle and plenty of entertainment, with Tegan Higginbotham returning as emcee and comedian Denise Scott bringing some laughs.

A panel of nurses and breast cancer patients also shared their experiences of local cancer care.

The event announced a $100,000 contribution towards stage two of a fully integrated cancer centre in Shepparton.

With the Shepparton Brewery team keeping drinks flowing, it was an afternoon of fun for an important cause.
