The Harry Bird toilet and shower facility on Tom Collins Dve, Shepparton, has reopened to the public following a recent renovation.
Completed as part of Greater Shepparton City Council’s public toilet replacement program, the new facility has been constructed in the same location as the previous building.
It includes three accessible cubicles equipped with toilets and hot-water shower facilities.
According to council, the upgrades have been designed to improve comfort, convenience and accessibility, ensuring public spaces remain welcoming and accessible for everyone.
“The new Harry Bird toilet facility provides a contemporary and accessible amenity that better meets the needs of our community and visitors to Victoria Park Lake,” council director of infrastructure Aidin Montazami said.
“Investing in high-quality public amenities is an important part of maintaining vibrant public spaces and enhancing the liveability of Greater Shepparton for current and future generations.”
