The event will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2027, from 9am to 2.30pm at Shepparton Showgrounds, bringing thousands of students together with businesses, training providers, education organisations and industry professionals from across the region.
In 2026, more than 3000 students attended the expo, connecting with 75 exhibitors and 16 sponsors across a diverse range of industries, education providers and career pathways.
The 2027 event will continue to build on this success, offering hands-on activities, practical demonstrations and interactive displays spanning trades, health, agriculture, technology, business, education, emergency services and emerging industries.
Careers Day Out is organised by Goulburn Murray Local Learning and Employment Network Inc, alongside Greater Shepparton City Council, with support from local businesses, education providers and community organisations.
Executive officer Bec Costa-Lowe said the expo was one of GMLLEN’s most impactful regional initiatives.
“Bringing students out of the classroom to engage directly with local employers and hands-on activities, gives them the clarity and confidence to shape their future subject choices and career decisions,” she said.
Businesses and organisations are invited to register as exhibitors and showcase their industry, career opportunities and pathways to thousands of students.
Schools can also now register to attend.
