Seniors Festival visits Benalla Aboriginal Gardens

The event formed part of Benalla Rural City’s 2025 Seniors Festival, part of over 30 events, all free or low cost, running throughout October.

Benalla Mayor Bernie Hearn said she encouraged all seniors to explore the program and get involved.

“The Victorian Seniors Festival is such a special time for our community,” she said.

“We want to see as many people as possible out and about, meeting others, trying something new and enjoying all that’s on offer.

“This festival really is a celebration of life and community.

“I encourage everyone to join in — there’s something for every interest and ability.”
