Benalla’s popular splash park will close for the cooler weather break at 8pm on Sunday, April 26, marking the end of another season of family fun.
The facility will reopen when warmer weather returns.
Rural City of Benalla Deputy Mayor Justin King said it had been a long hot summer and it had been great to see the facility used.
“Council amenities such as the splash park and the free entry to the aquatic centre has helped the community cope with these extreme conditions,” he said.
Council thanked residents and visitors for their support and encouraged the community to continue enjoying Benalla’s parks, gardens, playgrounds and walking tracks during the cooler months.
