A woman who was flown to a Melbourne hospital after being run over by a tractor on Saturday, September 26, is no longer in a critical condition.
The woman was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a critical condition on Saturday, and still remained critical on Tuesday.
However, a Royal Melbourne Hospital spokesperson said on Thursday morning that she was now in a stable condition.
EARLIER, Tuesday, September 29: A woman was flown to a Melbourne hospital after a tractor accident in the Goulburn Valley on Saturday, September 26.
Police said the 30-year-old woman had been driving a tractor that was towing a slasher on a property on McKenzie Rd in Mooroopna North about 5pm on Saturday.
The woman got out of the tractor, leaving it going, and it moved forward and ran over her, police said.
Ambulance Victoria mobile intensive care ambulance and advanced life support paramedics assessed and treated the woman at the scene.
She was flown to Melbourne’s Royal Melbourne Hospital by a specialist Air Ambulance Victoria helicopter crew in a critical condition with lower body injuries.
She remained in a critical condition in hospital on Tuesday, September 29.
