It comes after the five-year-old daughter of Stryker won the 0-58 over 1412m in Benalla less than three weeks prior.
With Shirley Hunter aboard once again at Wodonga, Lady Day jumped strongly from barrier two and was first to lead on the rail before settling back to third at the 800m.

Then, taking back the lead on the turn, Lady Day kicked and kept going to win by a length and a half ahead of Mansfield-trained, Last Hope.
Lady Day’s first win in the Benchmark 64 grade had Burgun a happy man after the race.
“She’s always been pretty progressive and always looked like she’s shown a lot of ability,” Burgun said.
Following her win in the 0-58 at Benalla, Burgun said he was confident she would improve enough to be a force in the higher grade.

“After she won at Benalla, we were going to run her at Moonee Valley last week, but she bruised her heel,” he said.
“We had to scratch her, so today was our second option.”
Lady Day has five wins from 23 career starts, with three of those coming at her home track at Benalla.

After notching his maiden win in the Euroa Maiden Plate (1412m) at Benalla on November, 8, Demilitarized and Reid returned to the same track a week later to secure the $22,000 BenchMark 58 (1406m) on November 17.
Demilitarized has two wins from 11 starts, with Seymour jockey Tahlia Hope aboard for both.
