Kyabram’s Riley Ironside avoided a one match ban by accepting an early guilty plea for carelessly engaging in rough conduct, with the low impact body contact reviewed as a one-game sanction, reduced to a reprimand following the plea.
Bomber Thomas Burnett copped two sanctions in the heated Seymour clash, one for careless rough conduct, the other for striking, graded careless, high contact and low impact.
The sum of offences left Burnett with a two-match ban that could be reduced to one with an early guilty plea.
Burnett accepted the plea and will miss round 12’s affair with the Shepparton Swans.
In the same clash, Seymour’s Jesse Brock carelessly engaged in rough conduct against an opponent, graded as body contact with low impact.
His one match ban was downgraded to a reprimand following his early guilty plea.
Shepparton United’s Mitch Travaskis will return for the Demons clash against Euroa this week after his one-week striking suspension was endured in round 11.
