Alara Jones and Georgia Spencer dominated in the goal circle, both returning from injuries.
Also the defence end shut down any opportunities to get close to us with multiple rebounds and intercepts.
Olivia Cavicchiolo and Alex Keast were in the best for the day.
It was a great team effort all down the court to have such an amazing win.
This will really help moving forward to our next match against Milawa.

Awards: Olivia Cavicchiolo, Alara Jones, Alex Keast.
B-Grade
B-grade had a tough game this week with a couple of players out.
The girls knew it would be tough against North Wang, as it always is.
Bernie O’Brien played a great game in WD, gaining numerous intercepts and tips for her team, earning her best on court.
Elyse Felstead played a great in goal attack with her eye in for the ring, also being named in the best.
The midcourt worked tirelessly throughout the game with Kellie Holmes also named in the best.
Her defensive pressure accompanied with her attacking intensity was next to none.
The girls will come away from the game with some things to work on and look forward to another hard game against Milawa next week.
Score: North Wang 52 to All Blacks 46.
Awards: Elyse Felstead, Bernie O’Brien, Kellie Holmes.
Under-17
What a great game the girls had today.
Their first draw for the season against North Wangaratta.
Trying a new combination in goals Haylea and Jessica worked well together with Remi and Alia feeding the shooters.
Alia, who was named best-on, was a valuable player getting so many intercepts and turning the ball over to bring it down for our shooters.
Haylea, who was also in the best, shot beautifully alongside Jessica.
Remi, who was also named in the best, ran tirelessly all game.
The girls were always behind, but never gave up and in the last quarter they gave it their all.
We were seven goals down and with great defensive pressure from Jazyah, Lilly and Kayla we turned the game around and shot 11 goals to their four coming out with a draw 38-all. Very proud of each and every player for not giving up and playing their best as a team. Well done girls.
Score: All Blacks 38 to North Wang 38.
Awards: Alia Heeps, Haylea Smith, Remio Nicholas.
Under-15
Although the Under-15s didn’t come home with a win this week, we wouldn’t consider it a loss as the girls played well and were only down by three at three-quarter time.
Georgia levy was named best on as she played a strong game in centre as well as Eliza Sammon and Grace Cooke who played a great game in defence.
This week we welcomed back Zellie Nicholls who played an amazing half in Wing Attack and we are excited to have our whole team back.
If we could give an award to everyone this week we would.
Score: North Wang 28 to All Blacks 19.
B-Reserve
Last time we played North Wang, saw us lose by 52 goals.
This week saw us lead all game up until the last five minutes, losing by three points.
Although the loss was disappointing, as we were the better side for 90 per cent of the game, North Wang’s class saw them capitalise on our mistakes in the last moments of the game.
However, noting that North Wang is a grand final contender, demonstrates that we certainly can be, too.
Keeley Sheehan and Chloe Dods worked tirelessly all game in defence to make North Wang earn every single goal they scored.
Grace Pastuszka continues to show immense improvement week in and week out, being a solid player in WD all game.
Having Emma Sangster back from a few weeks off proved beneficial as she was a constant through defence and attack all game, putting her in the best.
Tay Bate took 100 per cent of the information from training into her game, feeding beautifully to the goalers, and demonstrating incredible sportsmanship, also earning her a spot in the best this week.
Jess Stocker also played a key role in WA, using her voice as an asset all game.
Mel Reaper and Courtney Sammon again proved they are a force to be reckoned with together in the goals, with accuracy and movement.
Overall, the game was ours to lose, but the loss still felt good, demonstrating immense improvement within the team.
Score: North Wang 37 to All Blacks 34.
Awards: Chloe Dods, Emma Sangster, Tay Bate.
