It was another tough day out for the boys as Goorambat took on Whorouly at Whorouly Recreation Reserve. Struck down by illness and injuries during the week, we expected a great outfit in the Lions, who are always tough and especially tough at home.
The boys battled hard with some of the younger players really putting their hands up including Matthew Priest down back. James Webb battled hard down back as always. Looking to reset and gain some valuable players back after a couple of weeks off.

Reserves
Our reserves took on Whorouly on Saturday with a number of players out due to injury or unavailability. The boys knew they were up against it from the start but made sure all contests were hit hard and nothing was easy for the opposition.
Through the middle Logan Hyland and Grayson Kirk had a great game tackling and spoiling on many occasions. Jeremy Sloan hit all contests hard and never gave up all day, while Will Cheshire worked hard in the ruck and is improving every week.
Across the backline Jeremy Hill and Shaun Lemmer worked well together against a good forward line. Unfortunately we were unable to score against a good team but the efforts from everyone is something to be proud of.
