BARNETT, Lawrence

Little Athletics Victoria was saddened to learn of the passing of Lawrence ‘Lawrie’ Barnett AM. Life Governor of our Association since 1991. Few - if any - have made a larger contribution to the Little Athletics movement and junior community sport in Victoria.

Above all else, Lawrie was a wonderful family man and his dedication to caring for his son Geoffrey (dec) – also a well-known identity in Little Athletics circles – was total.
