One year without you feels like a lifetime. Not a day goes by that we don’t think of you. Time didn’t stand still — the world kept moving — but our world’s crashed the day we lost you.
We’ll never understand why you had to go when we still needed you here with us. But we find comfort in knowing that your pain is gone now, and that you’re happy up there, probably mowing lawns & fishing. We hope you don’t have to miss us as much as we miss you.
