PLAISTER, Fumiko

The Lord Mayor of Hobart Councillor Anna Reynolds, Elected Members, Chief Executive Officer and employees of the City of Hobart are saddened by the passing of Fumiko Plaister.

Fumiko served the City with grace and dedication as Lady Mayoress alongside her husband, the late Lord Mayor Douglas R. Plaister, between 1976 and 1984.

She will be remembered for her unwavering commitment to strengthening the bond between Hobart and its Sister City, Yaizu.
