As Diana Lucas, she came from a property in Burra to study at St Ann’s College in 1956, where she lived for four years and she served as the President of the College Club in her final year.
Di, as she was commonly known, became our Acting Principal in 1974 and briefly again in 1987. She joined the St Ann’s College Council in 1975, and she held the position of Chairman from February 1979 to May 1994.
Our College is deeply saddened to lose Di, a vibrant and profoundly cherished member of our community. We are so thankful that Di chose to give so selflessly to the betterment of St Ann’s over many decades.
